I understand it, it is like nivekov say, sometimes we occidental editors use japanese songs because we like the melody, but you understand the lyrics and think that video and music doesn't match. I think you used the song because it has a nice feeling and beat, suitable for this upbeat anime. Maybe you should have sticked to a non-english song so most people won't complain about the lyrics, or using an english song that has the feeling, melody and lyrics that could truly match the video you edited, it must not be that hard. Another font could have been better. Still, super great hard work.

i actually liked it and even though most people are complaining about the music, i feel the overall feeling of the song fits the video. but bruh....you did all that masking just to put text behind the characters? LOL if i had all of those motion-masks, the stuff I would do tho
