 | [31.01.2018] BloodCurse » Last fire fades [Bea$t] | As a huge fan of the dark souls series I am really disappointed by this video. The music was just a shitty metal remix of the Dark Souls soundtrack and you were even too lazy to go into the game and make some cool scenes, not only that but the only thing you have really edited was just a 60 fps speed up for some scenes. The atmosphere got ruined with the drum smashing of the song and you even used cutscenes of the shitty dark souls 2 game that has NOTHING to do with Lordran nor will ever have. The only thing I have liked from your entry was your entry poster which I am not even sure if it is your original art.
To sum it up: This video is shit and the only reason why you are in the finale is because you won 3 times akross already. I hope you stay away from Dark souls remastered or atleast learn how to correctly edit Dark souls videos

I mean.. this is the type of video get when you open up youtube and search " Dark Souls GMV ", it's your typical fanmade video composed of only cutscenes with rock music slapped on top of it, I think your Claymore and Berserk videos were fantastic but this is beyond disappointing.
A lot of the other users seem to like it, but maybe it's simply because it's a video from you? Maybe it's me, maybe I'm just not seeing the magic..?  anyway gl in the contest |

 | [31.01.2018] kuruta » A Moment Apart [Nards] | the concept is clean for me, I really like how you handled the development of it in the scenes and in the parts built by you, I have not seen this anime, even though I think it was the best choice for what you wanted to express in the video. You have to work better with the color correction, some scenes look too dark (saturated blues above all). the scene of 1:35 is strange because of that grid behind. Another thing that did not seem right, is to leave the body of the girl as part of the geometric figure, it takes away abstraction and confuses the viewer, you could have used geometric figures for the body as well.
In spite of all this, it is a good job and I wish you luck in the votes for the first place. |

 | [31.01.2018] JustRukia » Morpheus Fragment [Radical Dream] | В старые времена данная работа считалась бы крепким среднячком. Но когда конкурс просто завалин романтикой и драмой такие работы воспринимаются как глоток свежего воздуха, как говориться - “На безрыбье и рак рыба”. В целом смотрится хорошо и акценты сцен, относительно трека, правильно расставлены, хоть и стандартно. Но есть момент, который прямо так сказать был откровенно слит. Я про 2:31-2:50, на донном отрезки, надо было вложить столько сильных сцен, которые можно было найти. На кульминационные моменты надо давать больше жару (в эмоциональном плане), чем на протяжении всего клипа (по крайней мере к этому надо стремиться). Такие допущения сильно портят целостность клипа, это просто совет на будущее.
В любом случаи, неплохой результат. Желаю удачи в будущих работах. |
