They truly can't. For example, when most people watch a movie, they don't say "oh wow, this editing is really good" and believe me, the editing in movies and TV shows takes much more work and intellect than making AMVs, lol.

Look here, there is quite a lot of editing but most people don't see it, and the editing being unnoticed is the goal of a smart editor. When you see a picture on a magazine, it's probably been photoshopped, but you can't tell and that's what the goal of an editor should be - to have their editing unnoticed. I mean, here's a challenge for someone with the time, go and find these anime episodes and download this song, and see how easy it is to make this AMV of mine. You'll then see how much implicit work goes into this stuff. |
