As a huge fan of the dark souls series I am really disappointed by this video. The music was just a shitty metal remix of the Dark Souls soundtrack and you were even too lazy to go into the game and make some cool scenes, not only that but the only thing you have really edited was just a 60 fps speed up for some scenes. The atmosphere got ruined with the drum smashing of the song and you even used cutscenes of the shitty dark souls 2 game that has NOTHING to do with Lordran nor will ever have. The only thing I have liked from your entry was your entry poster which I am not even sure if it is your original art.
To sum it up: This video is shit and the only reason why you are in the finale is because you won 3 times akross already. I hope you stay away from Dark souls remastered or atleast learn how to correctly edit Dark souls videos

I mean.. this is the type of video get when you open up youtube and search " Dark Souls GMV ", it's your typical fanmade video composed of only cutscenes with rock music slapped on top of it, I think your Claymore and Berserk videos were fantastic but this is beyond disappointing.
A lot of the other users seem to like it, but maybe it's simply because it's a video from you? Maybe it's me, maybe I'm just not seeing the magic..? anyway gl in the contest
Скорее всего просто ошибся, изначально создал композицию в 25 и вот результат. Но я же говорю, что не видел каких-то критичных проблем с фпс, да и сейчас не вижу, поэтому и не обратил внимания.

Я же уже давал понять, что мне всё это давно не интересно, этот клип сделал просто в поддержку конкурса.

Говёное м/в это когда музыка с видео не сочетаются, там как раз такой случай. Вялый пхк под соулсы не смотрится. Клип оп технике очень хорош, но м/в рушит все усилия автора.

I was just trying to made some atmospheric DS video. All that motion were taking too big amount of time from me and hey I'm still on retirement
As a great admirer of your past work, and someone who also finds Berserk and Claymore to be some of my favorite anime / manga respectively (by a long shot), I was VERY excited to see that you were covering dark souls. Initially, I have to admit, I was disappointed to not see any of the incredible motion design seen in your previous works.
Now that I've rewatched your video a few times, I can really appreciate your cuts, scene selection and overall interpretation of the haunting beauty and decay that is such a touchstone of the Souls series. The music was well-chosen (though the drums ARE a little much, even for me) and I felt a great sense of respect for the elements of great realms gone to ruin that Miyazaki places such importance in.
While there are other flashier GMVs using this source, I don't feel like any of them have felt like an extension of the vision of Souls like this one. I would have loved for some more dynamic camera motion and color grading, and more use of the Flame Keeper / Emerald Herald / Maiden in Black. Maybe even Artorias and Sif. Perhaps you wanted to keep things at a more macro-level distance, but I think I would have felt a greater connection to the video if you had shown some of them.
BUT if your intention was to focus on the Gwyn and the lords of cinder, you did a great job. Overall, I really like it. Good job!
Справедливости ради, выскажусь. Там клип хорош далеко не благодаря м/в. С другим он даже получше был и не обязательно митолом, да. Сомнительный выбор типичного попсового представителя позднего постхарда, под дарк фентези сорс.
