Every time I listen to this song I think about Kenshin and Kaoru.

Kenshin and Kaoru found each other, but for a long time he never wanted her to completely enter his life. He never thought he would see the light again or even deserve it.

But Kaoru remained next to him, even in spirit. She was what kept Kenshin fighting; she was his strength. Every day comes to an end, the sun settles for the moon to come; and that's how I see their relationship: full with ups and downs, but at the end the sun will always shine.

I tried to make this from Kenshin's point of view, that was also one of the reasons I decided to not use the OVA's. Sorry the old footage. Though this will always be one of my favorite animes, old or new doesn't change anything. Really hope you all like it. :)
